From Tuesday to Saturday, the Regent’s Park production of Lord of the Flies comes to Newcastle’s Theatre Royal.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Andy Smith & Fuel present The Preston Bill in Stage 3 at Northern Stage.

Punching The Sky, a play about porn, parenting and pressure, comes to Live Theatre on Wednesday, followed on Friday and Saturday by Sherman Cymru’s production of Gary Owen’s Iphigenia in Splott.

On Thursday at Alphabetti, Dominic Berry presents Playing Mortal Kombat Guarantees You Inner Calm and on Saturday it’s the venue’s first birthday in the current premises and they’re having a free birthday party, suitable for age 12+.

The musical The Bodyguard comes to Sunderland Empire from Monday to Saturday.

Analogue presents Stowaway at Arts Centre Washington on Friday.

Stowaway comes to Alnwick Playhouse on Tuesday and on Wednesday Kelly-Abbott Dance Theatre presents Launch Day.

And Stowaway moves to the Queen’s Hall in Hexham on Wednesday.

At Middlesbrough Theatre from Monday to Friday, Less is MORE productions presents a week of new writing.

There are two shows for children at ARC Stockton this week: on Wednesday at 6PM, Unlimited Theatre presents Play Dough, a game show for age 7+ where the audience can play with 10,000 real pound coins, and, on Friday and Saturday, Tangled Feet presents Need a Little Help (for age 3-7) based on the experiences of young carers. On Wednesday at 7PM, it’s the regular ARCADE Scratch Night with extracts from four current works-in-progress.

On Thursday at 11am and 2pm in Darlington's Cattle Market Second Hand Dance presents Grass, a dance show for ages 2-8, part of the spring Jabberwocky Market.

Loaded in Harrogate (produced in association with Reform Theatre) continues at Harrogate Theatre until Saturday.
