A chance to be a theatre angel for Stiles & Drewe new work
Crowd funding is becoming increasingly popular in the arts world and an opportunity now exists for those who have £1,000 or more to invest to support a new stage adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s classic Wind In The Willows.
The team behind the Disney / Cameron Mackintosh’s musical Mary Poppins are reunited for this project: Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey, Gosford Park, The Young Victoria) will write the book and composer and lyricist duo George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Honk!, Betty Blue Eyes, Soho Cinders) will write the songs. Jamie Hendry will produce.
Individuals may participate in the investment project with £1,000 to £5,000 to raise 10% of the production cost of £6.5 million.
