Solo for Two, a diverse co-production by Segerstrom Center for the Arts and Ardani Artists, comes to the London Coliseum (6-9 August) after performances at the Center (25 to 27 July), and the Stanislavsky Musical Theatre in Moscow (31 July to 3 August).
Producer Sergei Danilian has pulled off a coup: arguably the world's most celebrated dancing partners, extraordinary dancers Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev (she now with the Royal Ballet, he recently seen as one of The Kings of the Dance) are reunited for a commissioned triple bill.
The programme will include a piece yet to be confirmed, followed by Passo from Ohad Naharin, artistic director of Batsheva Dance Company, to a score by the British electronic music duo Autechre and English traditional folk music.
Facada, a new work by Arthur Pita (The Metamorphosis, The Linbury Studio Theatre Royal Opera House) to music by Frank Moon, Phil King and traditional Portuguese fado, will conclude the bill.
