Scottish Ensemble & Andersson Dance present Bach’s Goldberg Variations at Dance City on Friday and Saturday.

Shrek the Musical continues at Sunderland Empire until Sunday.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Be Brave and Leave for the Unknown is at Arts Centre Washington.

Be Brave and Leave for the Unknown moves on to the Customs House in South Shields on Friday and Saturday.

On Tuesday at 10:30AM and 1:30PM Bear & Butterfly comes to Blyth’s Phoenix Theatre.

Black Theatre Live presents Cathy Tyson in She Called Me Mother at the Queen’s Hall in Hexham on Friday and Saturday.

The Russian State Ballet and Opera House presents The Nutcracker at Billingham Forum on Friday.

Wednesday is the regular ARCADE Scratch Night at ARC Stockton and on Thursday Leeds Studio in association with West Yorkshire Playhouse presents Nine Lives, the human story behind asylum seeking.

From Monday to Saturday, the touring production of The Full Monty comes to Darlington Civic.
