Author(s): Robyn Grant & Tim Gilvin Company: Birmingham Hippodrome Age recommendation: 3+ years

“When winter comes, we gather round, as first flakes dust the icy ground”

In a cosy village nestled in the snowy mountains, the Shnootnoot Winter Festival is fast approaching. As the villagers prepare to celebrate the first snow of the season, Astrid is busy practising to play with her school band. Everyone wants her to keep in time, but Astrid just wants to march to the beat of her own drum.

Meanwhile, deep in the Winter wood, The Jingleclaw awakes, a mischievous monster who can’t STAND festive cheer and music, she is determined to put an end to the villagers’ merriment with the help of her batty bat sidekicks.

Can Astrid find a way to bring her own music to the winter festival and keep the village safe?
