The Hawth’s new youth theatre opens its doors with free trial sessions on 3 and 10 September before the first term begins on 17 September.
Led by theatre professional Sarah Slator, the weekly sessions will explore all aspects of theatre including acting, voice and movement and will run on Thursdays at 5PM (11 to 14 years) and 7:15PM (15 to 18 years).
Members of THYT will be able to work on performances on the theatre's own stage and will be eligible for discounted tickets for selected workshops and productions at The Hawth.
Sarah Slator, The Hawth Youth Theatre leader, said, “we aim to produce high quality youth productions and provide opportunities for members to develop and refine skills and build confidence."
