Aladdin at Oldham Coliseum

Aladdin (the popular Justine Bailey) returns to Oldham Coliseum this Christmas with his family, Wishee Washee (perennial Coliseum favourite, Richard J Fletcher) and washerwoman, Widow Twankey, played by doyenne of pantomime dames, Fine Time Fontayne, fresh from doing time as Peter Barlow’s cell mate in ITV’s Coronation Street.

They are joined by characters including the beautiful Princess Jasmine (Nicole Evans) in the ever popular pantomime.

Abanazar, the villain is played by Andonis Anthony, who played a memorable King Rat in the Coliseum’s production of Dick Whittington in 2011.

The hard-working cast are putting in 12 performances a week over 12 weeks—pantomimes are not for the fainthearted.
