One secret love affair. Two disaster-bound dinner parties. Three couples headed for trouble.

Bill Kenwright’s production of Alan Ayckbourn’s farcical tale of matrimonial mishaps, How the Other Half Loves, is at The Lowry in Salford from September 11 to 16.

The 1969 classic and the first of Ayckbourn’s plays to be staged on Broadway has a star cast that includes stage and TV actor Robert Daws, best known for the hit series’ The Royal, Outside Edge and Roger Roger, opposite Caroline Langrishe, who starred in Lovejoy, Holby City and Judge John Deed.
