The darkly comic multimedia piece diRTy by transgender artist Joey Hateley is a surreal semi-autobiographical performance piece, inviting audiences to eavesdrop on the conversation between conflicting personas inside someone’s head.
It’s at Bluecoat, Liverpool, on November 30.
Hateley interweaves gender subversion, personal secrets and cinemagraphic imagery to summon a psycho-drama, which depicts the taboos and excesses of humanity.
