Todd Boyce is to join the cast of the 2023 Derby Arena panto Mother Goose as Demon Vanity.
Boyce, originally from the United States, who trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia, is currently playing baddie Stephen Reid in ITV’s Coronation Street.
Derby LIVE and Little Wolf Entertainment, the team behind the panto, have hatched a plan for Morgan Brind, who played Widow Twankey in Aladdin in 2022, to be Mother Goose.
Derby actor Kristian Cunningham, who played the title character in Aladdin, returns as Benedict. Nicola Martinus-Smith, Princess Amira in Aladdin, will play Rosemary. Roddy Peters, who was Norman Ton in Sleeping Beauty in 2021, returns as Baron Wasteland.
Mother Goose will fly into Derby Arena from Friday 8 until Sunday 31 December.
