Bristol Improv Theatre - theatre jam

The UK will have its first full-time, permanent venue dedicated to improvised theatre and comedy when Bristol Improv Theatre opens its doors in March.

A team of local creatives and performers are setting up a fully-equipped, 100-seat theatre with licensed bar, rehearsal rooms and office space in a former members’ club.

The Bristol Improv Theatre, BIT, is supported by crowdfunding, fundraising events and private investment and the first phase of building works starts shortly.

Fundraising will continue after the doors have opened to develop a fully-equipped performance and teaching space.
