The trust which looks after Buxton Opera House and the Pavilion Arts Centre has appointed Sarah Kell programme manager and Susanne Howe financial controller.
Sarah Kell joins High Peak Theatre Trust after many years as a booking agent and general manager for touring drama. She was also an arts development officer for a local authority in Lincolnshire.
In Buxton her role will include managing the learning and participation team who run Buxton Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre’s young company.
Susanne Howe, a Buxtonian, will draw on extensive accountancy experience in commerce, social housing and local government in the High Peak.
Chief executive Simon Glinn said, “Sarah and Susanne are important appointments for Buxton Opera House as they bring extensive experience and add to the leadership and depth driving our transformation and organisational development.
"With Sarah’s knowledge of the real economics of touring theatre and Susanne’s commercial background we’re able to develop as a financially astute and resilient cultural organisation.”
Both will take up their positions in January 2015.
