Charity concert première for DISASTER!

Broadway musical comedy DISASTER! is to have its première at London's Charing Cross Theatre on 20 November when a concert performance is given in support of AIDS charity, the Make A Difference Trust.

This New York Times Critics' Choice is a musical comedy spoof of 1970s disaster movies such as The Poseidon Adventure, Earthquake and Airport.

It features '70s pop hits such as “I Will Survive”, “Knock On Wood,” “I Am Woman” and “Hot Stuff”.

The show originated in 2012 and ran Off Broadway in 2013, opening on Broadway in 2016.

The show is written by Seth Rudetsky, who also stars and Jack Plotnick who also directs. Other guest stars casting is to be announced.

DISASTER! will have two concert performances at Charing Cross Theatre on 20 November at 4PM and 7:30PM.
