The Dolphin Hotel from Thread at the King's

A new play, The Dolphin Hotel by Samantha O’Rourke, is at Salford’s King’s Arms as part of their Play-4-Free Festival January 25-27.

Betty is a young Hungarian prostitute and Eric, a lonely fish fanatic. He is desperately hoping their friendship can become more, but how much does he really know about Betty.

Thread is a young theatre company specialising in new writing as well as innovative takes on classic plays.

The Dolphin Hotel will be the second original play produced by Thread this year, written by Everyman Playhouse Young Writer O’Rourke. This follows a successful Edinburgh Fringe debut with Much Ado About Zombies.
