Oldham Coliseum’s autumn and winter 2017-18 season mixes comedy, thrills, history and song.

The season opens September 8 with Joan Littlewood’s ground-breaking First World War musical Oh What A Lovely War.

The Coliseum also presents a revival of John Godber’s Up ’N’ Under from October 6 to 21. Highlight of the festive season is this year’s family pantomime, Dick Whittington.

In the New Year, the Coliseum presents The Kitchen Sink from February 9 to 24, a modern family drama about big dreams, small towns and taking care of each other.

Elsewhere in the season, English Touring Theatre joins forces with Mercury Theatre, Colchester for a tour of Conor McPherson’s Olivier Award-winning thriller The Weir coming to the Coliseum from October 24 to 28, and Talking Scarlet Productions presents Brian Clemens’s Murder Weapon from January 30 to February 5.
