Former X Factor contestant Niki Evans will appear in Coventry Belgrade’s musical Godiva Rocks which features hit songs by artists from the city.

Evans from Warwickshire who takes the role of Bev reached the semi-finals of the ITV entertainment programme. Since then she has played Paulette in Legally Blonde the Musical in 2012 and Orange Girl in SHOUT! The mod musical in 2016.

The cast of Godiva Rocks also includes Ross Gurney Randall (Leo), Madeleine Harland (Dee), Georgie Ashford (Nell), Yanick Ghanty (Jas), Rebecca Botterill (Lucy), Aimee Barrett (Dee-Ann), Alexia McIntosh (Rosa), Jack Benjamin (Tony), Lejaun Sheppard (Patrick), A J Jenks (Ray / Pete) and Thomas Gilby (Nigel).

Written by Alan Pollock and directed by Hamish Glen, Godiva Rocks features 20 songs from Coventry artists including Frank Ifield, Vince Hill, Hazel O’Connor, The Specials, Terry Hall, King, The Primitives and The Enemy.
