Accessible: Curve recognised in tourism awards for the second time

Leicester’s Curve has been given a highly commended access-for-all tourism award at the VisitEngland’s Awards for Excellence 2014.

The theatre won the silver award in 2012 in the same category.

The theatre’s chief executive Fiona Allan said, “We’re thrilled to have been recognised at these prestigious national awards for the second time. We’re very proud of the exceptional facilities and the initiatives that we offer.

“Accessibility and inclusivity lie at the heart of everything we do, from affordable ticket prices and an ever-expanding range of access and relaxed performances to the education projects within our local communities.

“We look forward to welcoming even more people into our unique building.”
