Quays Culture, creators of outdoor digital arts and cultural events, has formed an international partnership with Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, in charge of Montreal’s arts and entertainment district.
Together they will co-commission a bold new, large-scale digital art display entitled Spectrum to première at Quays Culture’s Lightwaves 2018. The festival showcases a programme of digital light art. Spectrum will then go on to be exhibited in Montreal.
Following an open call for proposals from UK and Quebec-based artists, Montreal-based collaborative HUB Studio has been selected to create Spectrum, to be revealed in December at Salford Quays.
