Following her worldwide success with her Beckett Trilogy of Not I, Footfalls and Rockaby, Lisa Dwan returns to Beckett for No's Knife, her interpretation of his collection of story fragments Texts for Nothing, at London's Old Vic Theatre.

No's Knife is described as, "an extraordinary journey into the heart of Beckett, unlocking his contemporary relevance to gender, identity and the human condition. It is an invitation to look at ourselves, and to ask who, or whom, am I?"

Irish performer and director Dwan originally trained as a ballet dancer and daced with Rudolf Nureyev in Coppelia in Dublin. For her Beckett trilogy, she was coached by the late Billie Whitelaw, who originated many of Beckett's most important roles.

Co-directed by Dwan with Joe Murphy with design by Christopher Oram, it will be at the Old Vic from 29 September to 15 October 2016.
