Salford Community Theatre presents an evening of discussion examining political theatre in the community on May 4.
Speakers include David Edgar and Stephanie Dale discussing their experience writing community plays and Julie Hesmondhalgh on her current political theatre project Take Back Theatre which uses performance as a way to explore social issues.
This event is raising funds for a forthcoming community play Love on the Dole, adapted from Walter Greenwood's Salford-based novel.
