A season of work that reimagines the Hexagon Theatre as “a space for risk, experimentation and playful collaboration” is to be staged at mac birmingham.
The venue has worked with its associate artist Stan’s Cafe to develop (h)Experiment, a number of shows by artists from across the West Midlands and beyond over three weeks.
Stan’s Cafe will host Slot Together, eight newly commissioned shows. Each one is 20 minutes long and will share the same stage and props which include a mug, a gun, a clock and a banana.
Eric MacLennan, Tom Marshman, Tribal Soul and Sam Newton will be the artists involved at mac birmingham on Saturday 9 May while Celia Moreno, False Collective, Adie Mueller and Kristina Gavran will take part on Saturday 16 May.
