Emporium Brighton in autumn and winter

Theatre, film and a two day Bollywood workshop are in the varied programme for Brighton's Emporium

Brighton's new arts venue, the Emporium, has announced the autumn–winter season for its 120–seat theatre and other spaces which include a café, bar and exhibition area.

Cinders is the theatre's first panto from the new in-house rep company, but the season opens with New Perspectives The Lovesong Of Alfred J Hitchcock.

For half term, Stuff & Nonsense offers a children's adventure, and also in the programme for a younger audience is Krazy Kat Theatre Company's 1, 2 3 Little Pigs. Emporium Youth Theatre with Learn Bollywood has a two-day Bollywood workshop for those aged 9-13 years.

Other events include film screenings, a Great Gatsby–themed tea dance from Ragroof, a Meisner Workout and a writing masterclass from author Nina de la Mer.
