English Youth Ballet's performance of Swan Lake

Young dancers are being offered the chance to dance alongside English Youth Ballet in its full-length production of Swan Lake at Stoke’s Regent Theatre.

One of the largest ballet companies in the UK, English Youth Ballet has a policy of giving experience to young dancers in an 11-day rehearsal period which takes place out of school hours.

Auditions will be held at the Regent on Monday 11 May. Dancers aged 8 to 11 should attend between 4:30 and 6:15PM and dancers aged 12 to 18 should audition between 6:45 and 8:30PM.

Each audition will take the form of a regular ballet class. Dancers are advised to register in advance although it is possible to register on the day. The fee for an audition is £15.

Swan Lake will be performed at the Regent Theatre on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September.

For more information and to register for an audition, contact EYB’s director Janet Lewis on 01689 856747 or at [email protected].
