Sherlock Holmes: The Sign of Four visits Lichfield Garrick

There will be “thrills galore” at Lichfield Garrick in its autumn and winter season, beginning with the national tour of The Case of the Frightened Lady.

The Classic Thriller Theatre Company will present Antony Lampard’s new adaption from the king of the detective thriller Edgar Wallace. John Partridge, Deborah Grant, Robert Duncan, Philip Lowrie, Matt Lacey, Scarlett Archer and Matt Barber feature in the production which visits the Garrick from Monday 15 until Saturday 20 October.

Blackeyed Theatre returns to Lichfield with Sherlock Holmes: The Sign of Four, Arthur Conan Doyle’s second Sherlock Holmes tale which is brought to life in a new adaptation by Nick Lane from Thursday 8 until Saturday 10 November.

Exeter-based Le Navet Bete will ensure there are spooky goings-on when Dracula: The Bloody Truth explores the comical side of All Hallows Eve on Wednesday 31 October.

An extra week has been added to the Garrick’s pantomime Dick Whittington which now runs from Thursday 29 November until Saturday 5 January 2019.

Young audience members should enjoy Elf and Reindeer’s Christmas Cracker, made in Lichfield and directed by the Garrick’s new artistic consultant Lucy Nicolls, from Thursday 6 until Monday 24 December.
