An award-winning Edinburgh Fringe production dealing with one of the last taboos of male health—testicular cancer—comes to Preston’s The Continental this October.
Growth by Luke Norris debuted at Paines Plough’s Roundabout @ Summerhall and won a prestigious Fringe First award before embarking on this tour.
Norris is an actor and writer of stage and screen best known to TV viewers as Dr Dwight Enys in the BBC’s Poldark.
Growth is “supposed to be a clarion call,” said Norris, “to make sure people do go and get it checked, and I don’t know another play that is saying that.”
It’s at The Continental on October 12, is recommended for ages 14+ and runs at 70 minutes with no interval.
