A Gambler's Guide To Dying

The story of a grandfather who won a fortune betting on the 1966 World Cup only to gamble it away on living to the year 2000 comes to Lancaster’s Dukes theatre for one night only on September 24.

2015 Edinburgh Fringe First award winner, A Gambler’s Guide to Dying, is a poignant yet funny piece of theatre about what we live for and what we leave behind.

It has already enjoyed sell out runs in America and Australia and was featured on BBC2’s Culture Show.

Written and performed by Gary McNair, this one-man play loosely based on his grandad’s life, explores luck, love and fate.

A Gambler’s Guide To Dying is recommended for anyone aged 12 plus.
