A girl aged 16 or over is needed for the touring production of David Walliams's Gangsta Granny when the show visits Northampton.
The town’s Royal and Derngate is looking for someone to play the character Diane who is meant to be 11 or 12. Diane has a small, solo, disco-type dance in the middle of the show and is part of the finale.
The successful applicant will have no conflicting school or college commitments. There will be no rehearsals and the chosen candidate will learn the dance in her own time from a video.
Anyone interested in applying should send an e-mail with a headshot, CV (including age and height) and a video of a disco routine which should be no longer than three minutes to [email protected] by Friday 10 June.
Gangsta Granny runs on the Derngate stage from Tuesday 12 until 16 July.
