Brian Conley to play Barnum in Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Grand Theatre has announced that Brian Conley will take to the stage in the musical Barnum in 2015—one of the highlights of the theatre’s winter season as its 120th anniversary celebrations continue.

Conley will star as Phineas T Barnum in the spectacular which runs from Tuesday until Saturday, 27 to 31 January.

Before that the Grand plays host to The Full Monty from 24 until 29 November.

Other attractions of the season include the National Theatre production of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time from 16 until 21 February; English Touring Theatre’s presentation of the Royal Shakespeare Company production A Mad World My Masters from 26 until 28 February; Shaun Williamson and Emma Barton in the National Theatre’s One Man, Two Guvnors from 16 until 21 March; and Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge from 24 until 28 March.

Musical highlights include Dirty Dancing from 23 September until 11 October; Top Hat from 21 October until 1 November; Thriller Live from 11 until 15 November; Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story from 19 until 24 May; Happy Days from 10 until 14 June; and the Marc Bolan musical 20th Century Boy from 30 June until 5 July.
