David Hasselhoff plays panto’s ultimate baddie Captain Hook in Nottingham Theatre Royal’s panto Peter Pan.

Known for his roles as Michael Knight in Knight Rider and Mitch Buchanan in Baywatch, Hasselhoff says he’s thrilled to be heading to Nottingham.

“I love performing in pantomime. It’s a fabulous British tradition and a great excuse to get the whole family together and enjoy a wonderful and entertaining time at the theatre.”

Nottingham-born Su Pollard adds a touch of sparkle in the role of the Magical Mermaid and also appearing will be children’s television favourite Barney Harwood.

Jonathan Saville, director of sales, marketing and development at the Theatre Royal, is delighted with this year’s line-up of stars.

He said, “Peter Pan will be the biggest and best panto in the region this Christmas and I’m sure we’ll see our box office breaking records once again.”

Peter Pan runs from Saturday 7 December until Sunday 12 January.
