Liverpool Theatre Festival runs from July 20 and a highlight of the 11-day programme is sure to be Sober Companion, a specially commissioned new play co-written and co-starring Liverpool-born actor Joe McGann and Jake Norton.
It will première July 22, with two performances at 3:30PM AND 7:30PM and is one of three specially commissioned works to be presented for the first time at the event. It’s the first time McGann and Norton have been involved in LTF.
Their play explores the funny, raw and sometimes dark places of fame, addiction and recovery and is suitable for audiences aged 14 upwards.
