Princess Beatrice on the Garrick stage with performers from My-Inter Theatre Company

Princess Beatrice visited Lichfield Garrick to see a performance from My-Inter Theatre Company.

More than 50 adults with learning disabilities from Lichfield, Tamworth and Burton-on-Trent performed on the Garrick stage in front of Princess Beatrice. The performance was created by facilitators and directors of My-Inter Theatre Company, Jill Young and Steve Mitchell.

Lichfield Garrick executive Chris Moore said, “it’s tremendously important that the Garrick is available for projects such as this and it’s very rewarding to see the hard work Steve, Jill and all the performers put in. I’m sure they’ll all remember today for a long time.

“Theatre and the arts are for everyone, and it was great to see those involved enjoy the experience so much.”

Princess Beatrice also took part in the warm-up session on stage with the performers.
