Husband-and-wife team Linda Lusardi and Sam Kane will be spending their 16th season performing together when they appear in Northampton Royal and Derngate’s panto Sleeping Beauty.
They were last in Northampton four years ago in the record-breaking production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Linda Lusardi plays Carabosse the Wicked Fairy while Kane is the henchman and also directs. Shinead Byrne plays Princess Beauty and Andy Jones is Muddles.
Executive producer Jon Conway said, “As well as an outstanding cast, this year’s production sees the introduction of 3D special effects at certain points in the show. There’s a fabulous 3D forest which surrounds the castle.”
Sleeping Beauty aims to enchant audiences in the Derngate auditorium from Friday 6 December until Sunday 5 January.
