The season opener at Little Angel Theatre is new work Emily Rising adapted from a radio play by Dan Rebellato. It concerns ten-year-old Emily who wakes up one day to discover that her feet no longer touch the ground.

Oliver Hymans directs this first of two co-productions with emerging children’s theatre company Goblin.

For the other, Little Angel Theatre artistic director, Samantha Lane, directs an Emily Rising spin-off for younger audiences. Let’s Fly is suitable for audiences aged two to six.

Also for younger audiences, there is Me… about a baby penguin by children’s author Emma Dodd.

Kneehigh co-production A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings returns for a Christmas run. This show is based on a short story by Gabriel García Márquez.

It is a revival of the successful 2011 show directed by Mike Shepherd, which marked the venue's 50th anniversary.

Visitors to Little Angel's Islington home are Dan L’Atelier by TOF Theatre, Penguinpig by TRAUM Theatre, Bookstory by MONSTRO Theatre and The Lost Things by Tortoise in a Nutshell.

The season includes relaxed performances, details of which are to be found online.
