Manchester’s acclaimed Hope Mill Theatre hosts the first production of Broadway musical Little Women seen in Europe this autumn.
Louisa May Alcott’s tale will be brought to life in the next collaboration by Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment and Hope Mill, the team behind Pippin currently being staged at the theatre. It will be co-produced with Knockhardy Productions.
Based on Alcott's 150-year-old book and with a score by Grammy Award-winner Jason Howland, Little Women follows the adventures of the four March sisters: Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy.
The Manchester production opens on November 9 and runs to December 9.
