Free live entertainment on 3 and 4 September at Brasserie Zédel

On 3 and 4 September, Brasserie Zédel will be buzzing.

To celebrate the launch of its new season of events, Live At Zédel, two days of free entertainment is being provided across the Brasserie Zédel building.

Brasserie Zédel owners, Corbyn & King Restaurants, are in partnership with principal talent agency, United Agents, to create this initiative that will see emerging talent and big name affordable entertainment in the heart of London.

The Live At Zédel programme is a cross-genre mix of theatre, comedy, spoken word, cabaret and music, with the entertainment starting from as early as 5 o'clock on some evenings and going on until late.

The programme for the season includes Doc Brown, Grayson Perry, Maria Friedman and the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Alongside such established performers, emerging companies will also have the chance to take to the stage.

This eclectic mix aims to blow a breath of fresh air through the traditional Soho scene.

Many of the artists appearing during the season will be performing at the launch weekend including Saturday’s host restaurant critic and Masterchef judge Jay Rayner, Cath Tyldesley and Anne Reid.

The Hamiltons, Twinnie Lee Moore and Phoebe Ray will also be performing on Saturday in the Crazy Coqs bar as will Miss Hope Springs.

Lovers of jazz can settle down in the Brasserie or foyer to enjoy live jazz from 5PM until late.

Sunday sees performances from associate theatre companies followed by resident drag group DENIM.

The weekend is made up of free ticked events. Each slot or show will be ticketed individually and tickets can be booked online.

The full programme for the Live At Zédel inaugural season which runs through to December is available for download.
