Magical treat for Cheshire venues

Axis Arts Centre in Crewe, opens its season with one of the hits of last year's Edinburgh Fringe, which then takes a mini-tour around Cheshire.

A close-up, intimate performance for a small audience, and possibly the first of its kind, Vincent Gambini’s This is Not a Magic Show is part performance-lecture, part deconstructed showbiz, and part magic tricks.

Opening the season at the Manchester Metropolitan University Cheshire Campus venue, on October 4, there will be additional performances at Winsford Library and Great Budworth Village Hall, as part of a tour organised in collaboration with Cutting Hedge, part of Cheshire Rural Touring Arts.
