Census by Malandra Jacks is a new theatre show highlighting the disparity, polarity and hope experienced by communities in Manchester.
It’s at Contact Manchester September 13–16.
It specifically explores working-class identity and heritage in Moston, a suburb facing cuts, closures and high rates of unemployment and Universal Credit claims compared with the rest of the city.
Through humour and state-of-the-art theatre projection mapping, an award-winning theatre duo uncover the untold stories of the area against the backdrop of the cost-of-living crisis.
