The Mist in the Mirror from Oldham Coliseum

Audiences across Yorkshire will be able to see one of Oldham Coliseum’s productions when the world première of The Mist in the Mirror goes on tour in spring 2015 with investment from Arts Council England’s strategic touring funds.

It is an adaptation by local writer Ian Kershaw of Susan Hill’s gothic ghost story which sees the Coliseum once more collaborating with digital scenographers imitating the dog after productions of The Hound of the Baskervilles and The Life and Times of Mitchell and Kenyon.

Oldham audiences will get the first opportunity to see The Mist in the Mirror when it opens on January 30 at the Coliseum, running until February 21. As a direct result of Arts Council England support, The Mist in the Mirror will then tour to Doncaster, Hull Truck Theatre, Wakefield Theatre Royal and Huddersfield’s Lawrence Batley Theatre.
