Mark Benton, Lucy Benjamin, Marcus Collins and Cheshire born and bred newcomer Freya Sutton lead the cast of smash hit musical Hairspray at The Lowry in Salford February 11-23.
Benton is larger than life Edna Turnblad, EastEnders’ Lucy Benjamin the scheming TV executive Velma Von Tussle and X Factor finalist Marcus Collins is too cool for school Seaweed Stubbs.
They are joined by newcomer Sutton as big-hearted, big-haired teen heroine Tracy Turnblad and original West End cast member Sandra Marvin as Motormouth Maybelle.
