Birmingham’s Old Rep Theatre has revealed that its Christmas 2023 show will be Peter Pan the Musical—the eighth Christmas production that the Old Rep has produced with the BOA Group of specialist academies.
Kate Tague, chief executive of the BOA Group, said, “this professional production will include leading talent from across the region alongside some of Birmingham’s very best up-and-coming performers.
“Drawing on the experience of the students, staff, alumni and partners of the BOA Group, this family favourite will be brought to life with fantastic special effects and digital scenery, celebrating classic British literature in the historic surroundings of the Old Rep Theatre.”
Principal of BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy Michael Painter added, “we’re incredibly excited about this production. We’re drawing on leading creative professionals from across the city, paring them with fresh BOA talent, and providing them with the facilities and resources to realise a magical vision for the show.”
Peter Pan the Musical will fly into the Old Rep from Tuesday 5 until Sunday 31 December.
