Everything Must Go at Birmingham Rep!

Have you ever wanted to drive away in Mr Toad's car, take home Wendy's House from Peter Pan or fancied a spectacular frock from a Shakespearian drama? Birmingham Rep Theatre and ITV's Everything Must Go! will be fulfilling theatrical dreams with a grand sale of theatrical items on Tuesday, 28th October.

The sale, which will be filmed for ITV's hit house-clearance and collectibles series, will raise money for the refurbishment of The Door, the theatre's studio space dedicated to presenting new plays by up-and-coming writers.

This huge public sale, which takes place from 11am on October 28th, will include a variety of theatrical items, from costumes to props and posters to furniture. Items up for grabs include a life-size bull, Toad's car from The Wind In The Willows, the Pirate's raft and Wendy's house from Peter Pan, a pair of cannons and even a baby grand piano! There will also be an auction at 2pm on the day of a tremendous range of spectacular costumes from many of The Rep's productions. These costumes can be viewed alongside the sale from 11am.

There is sure to be something of interest to everyone and the presenters from Everything Must Go!, Clayton Riches and Adrienne Lawler, will be helping out as The Rep opens the doors to the traffic of eager buyers.

Everything Must Go! is made by Birmingham-based production company Hotbed Media. The third series, currently on ITV1 at 2pm daily has been such a resounding success that ITV chiefs have commissioned 5 one-hour specials.

This fundraising sale and auction will support future developments at Birmingham Repertory Theatre and thus qualify for HM Customs & Excise VAT Exemption. Birmingham Repertory Theatre is a registered charity, number 223660.
