Amongst the shows coming up at the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl in the next weeks are two tribute acts.

Firstly, on the 15th of the month, The Bon Jovi Experience re–creates the New Jersey rock band live in concert with hits such as “Livin’ On a Prayer”, “Keep the Faith”, “Bad Medicine” and “You Give Love a Bad Name”.

Saturday 23 August sees Let’s Hang On back at the Pavilion Theatre. In a production with new sound, lighting and AV screens, the show charts the prolific career of one of the most successful bands of all time: Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

Covering the period from the early '50s, the show features many hits including "Take My Eyes Off You", "December 1963 (Oh What a Night!)", "Working My Way Back To You", "Walk Like a Man", "Big Girls Don’t Cry" and of course " Let’s Hang On!".

Later in the month, veteran comedy duo Cannon and Ball return to Rhyl to play the Pavilion Theatre for one night.

Amongst the news are two items of advance notice.

The new date for Joe Longthorne's performance at the venue is 25 February 2015. The singer has moved or cancelled several of this year's tour dates whilst he undergoes treatment for cancer. Darren Day will play the date originally arranged for Longthorne (16 August).

In a letter, Joe Longthorne says "I simply can’t wait to see you and be back on stage to perform for all of you, once I am fit and well".

And last but not least, Stones In His Pockets will play one night on 1 November.

This multi award-winning comedy by Marie Jones is on a nationwide tour of over 60 dates; Ian McElhinney directs and Conor Delaney and Stephen Jones are in the cast playing 15 characters between them.
