A Christmas Carol from Northern Ballet

Christmas comes early at Manchester’s Palace Theatre as Northern Ballet’s hugely popular adaptation of Charles Dickens’s classic tale A Christmas Carol turns up next month.

This production, originally directed by former artistic director Christopher Gable and choreographed by Massimo Moricone, combines ballet and theatre to tell the much-loved festive fable of Ebenezer Scrooge and his magical night with three terrifying ghosts.

Current artistic director David Nixon explains: “Restaging what has become a signature piece from the era of Christopher Gable demonstrates Northern Ballet’s commitment to preserving our heritage by performing key works from our repertoire.”
