Northern Rascals dance-theatre company previews a new show in Salford before a London première—and a return to Leeds in January.
Shed from Northern Rascals will be at the New Adelphi Theatre October 25. The company will then take the show to London at The Place.
The preview and London première mark a significant milestone in the company’s development. Co-artistic director Anna Holmes is thrilled to be taking the company to London for the first time but also wanted to give Northern audiences the opportunity to see the show first.
A choreographed portrait of confused emotions, love and loss, Shed uses digital art, spoken word and contemporary dance to raise awareness of mental health issues. It is performed by a cast of four.
