Dirty Dancing is returning to the Palace Theatre in Manchester two years after it first wowed the city.

It runs here from Tuesday to June 15.

The Waving Cat of Japan comes to venues around the region this week.

In this Far Eastern adventure, from the unique hearing led and deaf directed Krazy Kat Theatre Company it is performed and taught by an integrated company of deaf and deaf aware performers.

Several familiar faces front a new musical coming to Manchester Opera House next week.

Aaron Sidwell (Eastenders), Verity Rushworth (Emmerdale) and Matthew Wycliffe (Jersey Boys) lead the cast of Carnaby Street, set against the backdrop of London’s West End in the 60s.

The Hormonal Housewives are back on tour starring British pop icon Toyah Willcox, writer Julie Coombe, and former Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jane Buckley.

The show is at Lancaster Grand Theatre on Tuesday.

A double-bill of international drama telling the stories of two remarkable young people comes to Lancaster’s Dukes venue.

Savage Children is the first collaboration between the Dukes and three theatres in Bristol, Bath and Cardiff who’ve joined forces to produce high quality drama for young people.

It features two modern classic plays—Mirad, Boy from Bosnia, which marks its 20th anniversary this year, and Wild Girl written 10 years ago.

A Royle Variety show comes to Blackpool Grand Theatre on Thursday.

Ricky Tomlinson, forever to be dubbed Jim Royle from the TV sitcom family, is keeping variety alive with a show which brings together diverse talent.
