Northampton’s Royal and Derngate and The Core at Corby Cube are getting together with Richard Alston Dance Company and Two Thirds Sky to enable dance artists and choreographers to visit Northamptonshire to work with young people.

Youngsters aged from 14 to 19 will be able to experience working with two dance companies in a free workshop in the Underground studio at Royal and Derngate on Thursday 20 April and in the Lab at The Core at Corby Cube on Thursday 27 April.

The young people will also have the chance to be part of the wider Alston Inspired project in which the company is looking to creating a new work to be performed alongside Richard Alston’s professional programme at Royal and Derngate on 5 and 6 October.

The deadline for applications is Sunday 16 April for the Northampton workshop and Sunday 23 April for the Corby workshop. Application forms can be downloaded at the Royal and Derngate web site or by emailing [email protected] or [email protected].
