Parents Without Children

Parents Without Children will be shown at the 3MT Theatre in Manchester May 20-22.

It’s described as a “sometimes absurdly funny, sometimes painfully raw drama” about parents who have each lost a child.

Teresa and Flynn recently lost Alice. Now she’s gone the 20-something beauty and her older, richer man are questioning if they have any reason to remain together.

Older, wiser Lisa’s marriage broke down long before her son died. Her husband Alistair, himself a brilliant barrister, could never quite reconcile having an autistic non-verbal son.

Beth rounds out the ensemble. Her mother told her to never marry a man who was less intelligent than she, but did she listen?

These wounded five find ways through their grief together.
