Birmingham’s Old Rep Theatre has revealed the cast and creative team behind its 2023 Christmas adventure Peter Pan the Musical.
Thea Jo Wolfe will play Peter Pan. Rhian Lynch will be Wendy, Matthew Christmas will play Hook and Mr Darling, Penny Ashmore will be Mrs Darling and Starkey, Stefan Davis takes the role of Smee and Morag Mayland will play John.
The professional team will be joined by a student ensemble from Birmingham Ormiston Academy who will be given the opportunity to work in a professional setting for the first time.
Alec Fellows-Bennett will direct. Choreographer will be CiCi Howells, Stephen Watkins will be musical director, Daniel O’Neill will design the set and Leanne Fitchett will be costume designer. Lighting and projection designer will be Will Monks and sound designer is Clive Meldrum.
Fellows-Bennett said, “I’m delighted to be returning to the Old Rep to direct family favourite Peter Pan the Musical. It promises to be a spectacular production packed with humour, brilliant songs and special effects that will take your breath away.”
The production will run from Tuesday 5 until Sunday 31 December.
