Rags the Musical comes to London for a charity concert

1986 Tony Award nominated Broadway show Rags The Musical is finally to be seen in London's West End.

The show, which has music by Charles Strouse (Annie), lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and book by Joseph Stein (Fiddler On The Roof), is to have a one night only charity concert performance on 28 April.

The show tells the story of a group of Jewish immigrants starting a new life in America at the start of the last century.

Amongst the cast are Caroline Sheen, Tim Rogers and Matt Zimmerman; they will perform with an on–stage orchestra of eleven.

Rags The Musical in concert will take place at the Lyric Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue on 28 April. UK charity for homeless young people Centrepoint, benefits from this event.
