Regent's Park Open Air Theatre is to take its 2013 production of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, adapted by Simon Reade, on a UK tour from September 2016.

This will be the third Open Air Theatre production to tour after To Kill a Mockingbird and Lord of the Flies. It opens at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley in September and will then visit Norwich Theatre Royal, Cambridge Corn Exchange, The Lowry in Salford, Curve Leicester, Woking's New Victoria Theatre, Hall for Cornwall in Truro, Birmingham Rep and Richmond Theatre, with further dates in 2017.

Directed by Deborah Bruce, the production will star Felicity Montagu (Alan's long-suffering PA Lynn in I'm Alan Partridge) as Mrs Bennet. Further casting has yet to be announced.
